Well I made it to Baytown. So far so good.... I really like it here. For a small town it really isn't that bad. Just been trying to learn my way around here. I have figured out how to get to town and back home. Which is a good thing. I am really going to have to take time to learn everything. hopefully it won't take to long. Well gotta run . I will try to keep everyone up to date. Se ya!

So I get to stay up at work all morning because we are on call. YAY! That means at a moments notice we have to be ready to go and get these lovely children from school before the weather gets to bad.
Apparently for the district I work for doesn't believe in closing down due to bad weather. They believe that we should come in for at least a couple of hours so we can count it as a day and don't have to make it up later in the year. I am just hoping that it all goes smoothly and we have no accidents today. Seeing as the roads are already icy.

So here's to a lovely day stuck around my coworkers for the next several hours..... *sigh* oh well at least my meeting over my accident Friday was canceled and I had my laptop with me. Wish us luck!

This cold Weather sucks!

I guess it probably doesn't help that I have been sick since yesterday . Hopefully I will feel better soon because my vacation is just four days away.  Well time for me to go back to work and deal with the monkeys. I better go take some DayQuil first. Thank god for good drugs.....

I always know when it is getting to be the end of the year when well all start getting week long vacations. 

     So starting tomorrow I am offically on vacation I will not be dealing with any bad children or stupid parents/teachers. I am really looking forward to be able to just relax and spend time with family and friends. I might even get to catch up on some much needed sleep which I have been missing out on. :p I am so looking forward to this next week.

For those of you who really liked the movie Casino Royal... You might be a little disappointed with Quantum of Solace.
 
 I went with a friend of mine last night to go see it and was really disappointed. Don't get me wrong it is full of action. The usualhigh speed chases and lots of explosions. However if you want a good plot your not going to get it. Which is sad to say but it is the truth. The characters were undeveloped and the plot was ehhh.... I even got kinda motion sick during the first major car chase, which is in the fist ten minutes of the movie. Oh and don't even get me started on how much the ending sucked.
 
 So needless to say I wish I had waited till it was at the dollar movies. *sigh* but that is life.  Oh and do not go see it if you haven't seen the first one. Because then you really won't know what the hell is going on.

It has been almost a week but... I am finally back online.  :D I am so glad I no longer have to use the work computer or one up at school anymore....  Oh and my new modem is even Shiny. So ya I can now once again can receive everyone's messages and can respond right away instead of a day or two.

One of the kids you work with is acting like something out of the exorcist. Seriously for the past two days one of my kids has be acting all crazy and speaking weird..... Well more then normal. This kid  just started acting all crazy and such for no apparent reason. I told my driver about maybe getting some holy water and a cross or something. Her response was that if he starts to spit out green stuff and his head starts spinning in circles she was going to bail.  I mean wouldn't you? This kid is going to drive me crazy!

 So total confused by this behavior from this child we final asked what was going on. The parents let him watch the exorcist on Saturday and it freaked him out. Can we say the parents are more retarded then their kid... Or the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
 It's just been another day on the short bus. Gotta love it right. :p

Who knew that when lighting hits a metal roof sparks fly? Well when I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning the metal building in front on me got struck. It was cool. My coworkers never knew a short fat girl could move so fast.  That was around 6:45am this morning. When I left at 4:30 the traffic lights and power were still out.  I tell ya it was kinda interesting driving around in a metal school bus picking up kids this morning. That is something I never want to experience again. Ya I don't get paid enough to dodge lighting, and traffic. *sigh* Gotta love Texas weather right? So all in all this day has been loads of "fun"

 Well the school year is finally over! I can now sit back and relax until next semester. That means no more hitting, biting,kicking,punching, etc, etc....
   It is going to be so nice not to have to worry about someone elses child for the next three months. I am not going to lie however I will miss my little monsters, or at least some of them. All I have left now to do till next semester is one meeting on friday and a end of the year party on monday. After that I'm free...... Yay! I survived my first year.  I thought this day would never come.... lol    
  To end on a funny note. Three middle school kids got arrested today for bring a gun on the school bus. They did it thinking they could scare the driver, because he pissed them off. Can you figure out who got the dumbass award for the year?
